What you are actually agreeing to
Both are sold, and they are different things to buy. The part that is hard to get elsewhere attaches to the property, not the image: one hosted page for the originals, one disclosure set written for each surface you publish to, one audit record. $29 covers that for every photo of one property, which costs less than $5 a photo from six photos up. Below six, a single photo at $5 is the honest price for one photo, and it returns the same package.
No. You pay for the photo or the listing, not the attempts, and attempts our quality checks reject were never yours to pay for. There is a ceiling: a listing is bounded at 60 renders and $12 of compute, roughly twice the heaviest listing anyone has made, and a single photo at 10 renders and $1.50. So a runaway job cannot run up a bill, but nothing you would normally shoot comes near it.
The plan stops unlocking new listings until the period resets, and you can buy a single listing at $29 whenever you need one. Nothing is charged automatically beyond the plan price, and you are never billed for an overage you did not choose.
For five photos or fewer, single photos at $5 cost less; from six, the $29 listing does, and it covers the whole property. Under four listings a month, single listings cost less than Agent. Four to six, Agent is cheaper. Above six, Studio pays for itself from about ten listings and covers the volume a photographer shooting full time actually produces, which is roughly twenty-four a month.
