Duskly

MCP server

Duskly in Claude, ChatGPT and Codex

Ask your assistant whether a listing photo edit has to be disclosed, and get the wording back. No key, no account, no install.

  • Free to try, no account
  • Original photo kept
  • MLS disclosure wording included

Features

What you get back

Not just an altered JPEG.

No key and no account

The compliance tools cost nothing to serve, so they are not gated. Paste one URL and the tools appear.

Rules quoted, not remembered

Answers come from rulebooks read directly, with rule numbers and sources. Assistants otherwise repeat per-offence fines for Canopy that appear nowhere in what Canopy publishes.

Disclosure wording per surface

MLS photo description, public remarks, print, syndication. Each has a different character budget, so each gets its own sentence.

Provenance checks on any image

Pass an image and get back what marks it carries. Works on images Duskly did not produce.

Your paid listings, readable

Give it a listing id and it returns the download link, the per-photo disclosure wording and the originals page.

It will not spend your money

No tool completes a purchase. Checkout returns a URL for a person to open. Rendering stays in the browser.

How it works

Three steps

  1. Step 1

    Upload your photos

    JPEG or PNG. Free to try: 2 renders without an account, 1 more when you sign in. Your original is never used for training.

  2. Step 2

    Pick a tool, then we check our own work

    Renders that move your framing or change the house are discarded before you see them.

  3. Step 3

    Download the pair

    The edit and your original, in MLS order, with disclosure wording for each place you post it and a record of what changed.

The server URL

Terminal
https://duskly.ai/mcp

That is the whole configuration. Streamable HTTP, no key, no OAuth, no session.

Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Cowork

Open claude.ai/customize/connectors, choose **Add custom connector**, and paste the URL above.

Connectors added on claude.ai are available in Claude Code too when you are signed in with the same account, so you only need to do this once.

Claude Code

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http duskly https://duskly.ai/mcp

Add --scope user to make it available in every project rather than the current one. Check it with /mcp inside Claude Code.

Codex

Terminal
codex mcp add duskly --url https://duskly.ai/mcp

Or add it to ~/.codex/config.toml directly:

TOML
[mcp_servers.duskly]
url = "https://duskly.ai/mcp"

ChatGPT

In the ChatGPT desktop app, open Settings → MCP servers → Add server, choose **Streamable HTTP**, paste the URL, save, and restart.

Anything else that speaks MCP

JSON
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "duskly": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://duskly.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}

The type field matters: a JSON entry with a url and no type is a configuration error in several clients.

What to ask it

  • "Does a virtually staged photo have to be disclosed on the MLS?"
  • "Write the disclosure line for a day-to-dusk edit, for the photo description and public remarks."
  • "Can I remove the power lines from this listing photo?"
  • "Check whether this image has any AI provenance marks."
  • "Here's my listing id. Give me the download link and the disclosure text for each photo."

Why the compliance half is the free half

Assistants are already asked whether a day-to-dusk edit is allowed on the MLS, and they answer from whatever they can find. What they find includes vendors publishing per-offence fines for Canopy that appear nowhere in what Canopy publishes, and one claiming an MLS requires EXIF tagging that it does not require.

Every rule this server returns carries verbatim text, a rule number and a source. Where a rulebook is gated to members and we could not read it, the answer says so rather than guessing. Making the accurate answer the cheapest one to reach is the entire reason this is free.

Two things the tools repeat, because they are the two most often got wrong: the disclosure duty falls on the licensee publishing the listing, not on the software or the photographer. And the absence of a provenance mark is not evidence that an image is a camera capture — most AI editors write nothing at all, and Duskly's own paid downloads are deliberately unmarked.

FAQ

Questions worth asking

No. The compliance and verification tools are free and need no credential at all. Tools that read a specific listing take the listing id from its URL, which is the same credential the website uses.

No, and that is deliberate rather than unfinished. A render spends model credit and sits behind a browser check an automated client cannot pass, so the server hands back a link for a person to open instead of pretending it can do the work.

Nothing. Connecting is free and the compliance tools stay free. Editing a listing costs $29 whether you start it from a browser or from a link the assistant gives you.

Only what you pass to a tool. Image verification sends the image you supply for inspection and returns a report; it is not stored or used for training. Listing tools send the listing id you give them.

Streamable HTTP, stateless JSON, protocol versions 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26 and 2024-11-05. There is no session to manage and no SSE stream, so a client that only speaks JSON works fine.
