Smallest size: 1920 x 1080, advice
“Our recommended photo size is 1920 x 1080 pixels. You may upload photos up to 3840 x 2160; they will be resized to the recommended dimensions.”

Article body

How we read it: The page gives 1920 x 1080 as the recommended size and names no minimum, so a smaller photo gets advice, not a fail. The page does not say which side is the width; a photo that fits only when turned also gets advice.

Largest size: 3840 x 2160
“Our recommended photo size is 1920 x 1080 pixels. You may upload photos up to 3840 x 2160; they will be resized to the recommended dimensions.”

Article body

How we read it: The page does not say what happens above 3840 x 2160, so we treat it as a limit, the stricter reading. It does not say which side is the width; a photo that fits only when turned gets advice, not a pass.

Format: JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP or TIFF (not HEIC)
“For best quality, use JPEG formats. Other formats such as PNG, GIF, BMP and TIFF are acceptable, but will automatically be converted and resized. NOTE: PDF and HEIC files are not accepted.”

Article body

How we read it: The page calls the other formats acceptable, so a PNG passes; JPEG is its advice for best quality. It does not say what they are converted to. It also names PDF as not accepted.

The pages we quote give no limit for photo count.

The same page says: “Our recommended bit depth is 24. A bit depth higher than 24 may result in upload failure.” The checker does not test bit depth.
